Mary Ann T. Harvey, 76, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, went with the Lord on Monday morning at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, with her family at her bedside.
Mary Ann was born in Allen County, Indiana, on January 29, 1935, to Leslie and Viola Voirol Coonrod.
She was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur and the American Legion Auxiliary in Decatur and a life member of the Geneva Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
She had worked for Sears-Roebuck Catalog and Kmart in Decatur.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Gary Harvey of Decatur; three daughters, Angela Goldner (and husband Rick) of Decatur, Michelle Jenkinson (and friend Jim White) of Bargersville, Indiana; and Rozlyn Fuller (and husband Brandon) of Granbury, Texas; two sons, Brian Harvey (and wife Paige) of Columbia City, and Douglas S. Harvey of Kokomo; six grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and one brother, Gerald Coonrod of Fort Wayne.
Preceding her in death were her parents; two brothers, Richard Coonrod and Leslie Coonrod Jr.; and two sisters, Ladonna Maldeney and Maxine Love.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with Father David Voors officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Decatur.
Viewing will take place on Wednesday, March 9, 2011, from 3-8 p.m. in Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur, with reciting of the Holy Rosary at 2:30 p.m.
Preferred memorials are to masses or to the Building On Our Heritage Fund at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church.
