Mary Ann C. Miller, 73, of rural Decatur, died on Sunday, June 3, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on February 8, 1939, in St. Henry, Ohio, to the late Henry and Leona (Kunkler) Guggenbiller.
On November 12, 1960, she married Gerald R. Miller.
Mary Ann was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, the Rosary Society and St. Vincent DePaul Society. She was also a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald R. Miller of Decatur; three sons, Charles E. (Jacqueline) Miller of Decatur; Alan R. (Susan) Miller of Bremen, Ind.; Greg P. Miller of Willshire, Ohio; a daughter, Elaine M. (Joe) Tharp of Decatur; two brothers, Norman (Dorothy) Guggenbiller of Fort Recovery, Ohio; and Eugene (Freida) Guggenbiller of St. Henry, Ohio; two sisters, Margaret (Tom) Albers Fort Loramie, Ohio; and Marceil (Alvin) Lochtefeld of Chickasaw, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Eric, Bryan, Monica and Corey Miller; Derick, Ryan, Jeremy and Chase Tharp; and Rachel Miller; and one great-grandson, Oliver Tharp.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Delores Luttmer; Lucille Schmitmeyer; and Thelma Guggenbiller; and one grandchild Samantha Miller.
Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, with reciting of the Holy Rosary at 2:30 p.m.
A 9:50 a.m. Prayer Service will be on Friday, June 8, also at the funeral home, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church. Father David Voors will be officiating.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to St. Joseph School or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
