Martha V. Eicher

    Martha V. Eicher, 102, of Berne, a member of the chorus for "Messiah" performances at First Mennonite Church in Berne for more than 65 years, died on Wednesday in Swiss Village Retirement Community.
    She was born in Adams County on April 21, 1909, to Emil and Pauline Leichty Eicher.
    Among survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Walter G. (Helen) Fox of Berne and Mrs. Syril (Mary) Bruns of Alexandria.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in First Mennonite Church, with burial in MRE Cemetery, rural Berne. Visiting hours are 3-8 p.m. Friday in the chapel at Swiss Village and 1-2 p.m. Saturday in the church.
    Funeral arrangements were by Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home, Berne.
