Markle resident gets SA post

    The South Adams School Board announced at Tuesday's meeting that Shellie Miller will take over as the South Adams Elementary School principal, effective July 1.
    A Markle resident, Miller began her education career in 1999 as a Reading Recovery and Title 1 teacher at Lancaster Elementary in the Northern Wells district. She served as the principal of Ossian Elementary from 2004-2010, and has been the principal of Churubusco Elementary since 2010.
    Miller holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a Master of Science in Education/Principal Licensure Program, as well as a K-12 building level administrator license.
