Mark A. Russell

    Mark A. Russell, 56, Uniondale, passed away on December 15, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital.
    He was born in Marion on July 16, 1956, to the late Carl E. Russell and the late Shirley R. McBride.
    Mark married Claudine (Bleeke) Russell on May 2, 1981, in Bluffton.
    He served in the U.S. Army from 1974-1977, then worked as a store detective for Ames Department Stores before becoming disabled in 1991.
    Among survivors are his wife, Claudine; daughter, Stacie Russell of Uniondale; brother, Terry Russell of Indianapolis; sister, Debra Adams of Huntington; and a granddaughter.
    Cremation was by Midwest Funeral Home & Cremation Society.
    A memorial service will be held at a later date.
