Marjorie L. (Gase) Sardella

    Marjorie L. (Gase) Sardella, 82, a resident of Woodcrest Nursing Home, went to be with the Lord this 6th day of October, 2012.
    She was the daughter of Anthony P. and J. Edna (Miller) Gase.
    Marjorie was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and she retired from United Telephone Company in 1978 after 30 years of service.
    She is survived by her husband, Frank Sardella of Rockford, Ohio: two sons, William Stetler of Wren, Ohio, and Ronald (Rita) Stetler of Willshire, Ohio; a daughter, Catherine Pertel of Decatur; four brothers, Patrick Gase of Decatur; Maurice Gase of Markle; Vincent (Donna) Gase of California; and Robert (Mary) Gase of Decatur; two sisters, Barbara (James) Meyer of Fort Wayne and Marilyn (Frank) Speith of California; eight grandchildren, Rebekah (Cris) Stucky; Kimberly (Riyad) Abu-Arqoub; Brian Pertel; Heather Pertel; Ron (Christine) Stetler; Rob (Jaime) Stetler; Rachel Stetler; and Rick Stetler; 14 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
    She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Lawrence; a brother, Gerald Gase; and three sisters, Jacquline Miller, Sandra Butcher and Janet Sautbine.
    Per Marjorie’s request, there will be no viewing or services held.
    Preferred memorials are to Woodcrest Nursing Center.
