Margaret T. Schwartz, 62, of rural Berne, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012, at her residence.
She was born to Christie T. Schwartz and Susan W. Schwartz on August 26, 1949, in Adams County.
Margaret was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was part-owner of the Jefferson Country Store.
She is survived by her father; stepmother, Katie (Wengerd) Schwatz; brothers, Jake T. Schwartz of Monroe, Joe T. Schwartz, Dan T. Schwartz, Chris T. Schwartz, Amos T.Schwartz, and Samuel T. Schwartz, all of Berne; sisters, Lizzie (Ernest K.) Schwartz of Berne, Josephine (Ben) Christner, Rebecca (Enos) Christner, Mary (Harvey) Christner, all of Bryant, Lovina (Daniel) Miller, Susan (Mosie) Miller, and Barbara T. Schwartz, all of Berne; and 20 stepbrothers and stepsisters.
She was preceded in death by her mother Susan; brothers Enos and Emanuel Schwartz, and sister Katie Schwartz.
Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday, at her home, with visitaion Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m.-8 p.m., also at the home. Bishop Ben M. Girod will be officiating.
Burial will be in Bunker Hill Cemetery near Geneva.
