March may not come in like a lion Saturday everywhere across the nation, but winter will continue to roar during the first several days of the month and impact more than 100 million people.
The National Weather Service in northern Indiana has issued a winter storm watch for Adams and surrounding counties which is in effect from late Saturday night through Monday morning.
According to the NWS, heavy snowfall, with accumulations of between 6-9 inches, is expected during that time frame.
Wind chill advisories have also been issued, with temperatures expected to dip into the single digits Sunday night. Monday’s high is 15 degrees, with a low of minus 6 degrees, according to the NWS.
