Make a difference, Brown tells students

October 14, 2011

Travis "Mr. MOJO" Brown

Travis Brown, a motivational speaker, met with Bellmont Middle School and St. Joseph School students at BMS on Wednesday.
Brown encouraged local youngsters to step up and make a difference in their school and their world by being positive and encouraging to others.
Later in the afternoon he met with 60 BMS students, training them to live to their fullest potential, to strive to be lifelong learners, and to be leaders at BMS by standing up for what is right everyday.
BMS will have a steering committee of student leaders who will plan events and activities geared toward transforming the school climate and making positive attitudes contagious, school officials said.
Brown, also known as Mr. MOJO, is a nationwide speaker on youth leadership and opposition to bullying. One of Brown’s key points is that leaders take a stand against bullying.
