Mahlon I. Schwartz

    Mahlon I. Schwartz, 22, of rural Monroe, died Friday night in Parkview Hospital at Fort Wayne of injuries suffered that evening in a farming accident.
    He was born in Adams County on December 7, 1988, to Elmer L. and Ida R. Yoder Schwartz of rural Monroe.
    Other survivors are eight brothers, Elmer I. Schwartz of rural Decatur; Mervin I., Truman I., John I., and Enis I. Schwartz, all of rural Monroe; Jake I. and Abe I. Schwartz of rural Berne; and Joe I. Schwartz of rural Salem, Indiana; five sisters, Mrs. Joe H. (Rosie) Schwartz of rural Salem; Mrs. Jake A.L. (Lydia) Schwartz and Mrs. Elmer L. (Anna) Christner of rural Berne; Mrs. David D. (Ida) Schwartz of rural Monroe; and Mrs. Alvin M. (Emma) Christner of Carlisle, Kentucky; and a grandmother, Mrs. Truman E. (Rose) Yoder of rural Geneva.
    Funeral services were held this morning at Mahlon Schwartz's parents' home.
    Burial was in East Salem Cemetery of rural Monroe.
    Funeral arrangements were by Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.
