Lyncoln A. Hess

    Lyncoln Ann Hess, 7 weeks years old, of Decatur, passed away suddenly at 7:15 a.m. on Friday, April 12, 2013.
    Lyncoln was born on Thursday, February 21, 2013, in Fort Wayne, to Jesse Hess and Alicia Hirschy, both of whom survive.
    Lyncoln was a member of Zion Lutheran Church-Decatur, along with her parents. Her father works at Selking International and her mother works at Fairway Deli Marathon.
    Among survivors are a sister, Shelbi Hess of Decatur; the paternal grandparents, Ron and Devota Hess of Decatur; maternal grandmother, Barb (Greg) Fleming of Decatur; maternal grandfather, Roger (Lynette) Hirschy of Wolcottville; maternal great-grandmother, Colleen Teeter of Decatur; maternal great-grandfather, Richard L. Fields, Jr. of Berne; and maternal great-grandfather, Allen Fleming of Decatur.
    Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Phil Phifer officiating.
    Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to The Hope Clinic and Zion Lutheran School.
