Lyle R. Scott

   Lyle Robert Scott, 30, of Decatur, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana following a brief illness.

    He was born in Decatur on Tuesday, August 31, 1982, to Robert Wayne Scott and Kathleen Ann (Dawson) Scott.
    Lyle married Cristy Dawn Fore on May 21, 2011, in St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Monroeville; she survives in Decatur.
    He was a 2001 graduate of Heritage High School, and was employed as a welder/fabricator at Stone-Street Quarries in Poe for 10 years.
    Among survivors are his parents, Robert "Bob" and Kathleen "Kathy" Scott of Hoagland; two brothers, Lucas Scott and Lloyd Scott, both of Hoagland; mother and father-in-law, Carl and Linn Fore of Decatur; and paternal grandparents, Doyle and Marilyn Scott of Hoagland.

    He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Albert and Helen Dawson.
    Visitation will be from noon-6 p.m. on Sunday, January 13, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 14, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Ralph Klinker officiating.
    Burial will follow in the Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or Hoagland EMS.
