Lydia C. Kalthoff

    Lydia C. Kalthoff, 103, formerly of Decatur, died at 3 a.m. on Sunday in The Village of Heritage nursing home at Monroeville.
    She was married to Ernest H. Kalthoff, who is deceased.
    Surviving are one son, Gene Kalthoff (and wife Linda) of Hoagland; one daughter, Patricia A. Kalthoff of Decatur; three grandchildren, Mrs. Bill (Pamela A.) Blumenherst of Fort Wayne; Kathy J. Kalthoff of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Brian (Amy L.) Walker of Decatur; and six great-grandchildren, Brianna, Brandon, Drake, Hanna, Tanner, and Ashlyn.
    Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Zion Lutheran Church (Friedheim) of rural Decatur, with visitation in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, from 4-8 p.m. Friday and visitation in the church from 9-10 a.m. Saturday.
    Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church (Friedheim) and to Family Life Care Hospice at Berne.
