Louise G. Johns

    Louise G. Johns, 100, of Van Wert, Ohio, died at 4 a.m. Monday in the Van Wert In-Patient Hospice Center.
    She was born in Adams County on September 30, 1910, to William Thomas and Charlotte Ruth Voltz Johns.
    She was a 1928 graduate of Pleasant Mills High School and retired from Continental Can Co. (Grief Brothers) in Van Wert. She was a member of St. Paul's Reformed Church in America.
    Surviving are two nephews, William H. Johns of Van Wert and Larry A. Caffee of Willshire, Ohio; five nieces, Jacquelyn Conrad of Decatur; Wanda Uncapher of Van Wert; Pamela Lepp of Rogers, Arkansas; Carolyn Sue Wise of Medina, Ohio; and Connie Brigner of Rockford, Ohio; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
    Deceased are one brother, Dallas C. Johns, and four sisters, Wanda Elsie Johns, Ruth Maxine Johns, Frances Emma Bonfiglio, and Violet McDonna Caffee.
    Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Cowan and Son Funeral Home, Van Wert, with Rev. Chad Strabbing officiating.
    Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery of Van Wert.
    Visiting hours are 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
    Preferred memorials are to St. Paul's Reformed Church in America.
