Lois A. Fegley

    Lois A. Fegley, 93, of rural Van Wert County, passed away Thursday, May 2, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
    Lois was born January 1, 1920, in Craigville, Ind., to the late Clarence R. and Anna E. (Gahman) Abbott.
    She married Chester Lloyd Fegley on May 11, 1941; he preceded her in death on May 7, 2003.
    Among survivors are three daughters, Nancy Gipson of Fort Wayne, Barbara (Winston Blenckstone) Fegley of Baltimore, Md., and Joan (Craig) Ford of Saginaw, Mich.; four sons, Richard (Karen) Fegley of rural Van Wert County, Floyd (Mary Jane) Fegley of Fort Wayne, Dennis (Debra) Fegley of Van Wert, and Dwight (Vicki) Fegley of Bella Vista, Ariz.; a brother, Roscoe E. Abbott of rural Van Wert County; sister, Esther Jane Henrey of rural Van Wert County; 15 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
    Lois was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jane Bredemeyer; granddaughter, Katie Rebekah Fegley; and brother, Walter N. Abbott.
    Visitation will be from 1-6 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home, and from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Monday, May 6, at Calvary Evangelical Church. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, also at the church, with Pastor W. Clark Williman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Calvary Missions or Van Wert Camp of Gideons International.
