Local man given four-year prison term

November 3, 2011

A Decatur man has been sentenced to four years in prison by Adams Superior Court Judge Patrick R. Miller.
Todd A. Hullinger, 43, rural Decatur, was sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to intimidation of his wife. That case also violated his probation and he further broke probation by drinking alcohol, being a bar, missing counseling sessions, and missing a probation meeting, the court said.
Hullinger, who is on probation for conviction of intoxicated driving, got double-credit for 129 days spent in jail here.
Hullinger also was ordered to have no contact with his wife as long as he is in prison and must pay $165 in court costs and $100 in legal fees.
