Lingenfelter Performance Engineering of Decatur is a partner with Holley Performance Products in sponsoring a drag race at the Holley LS Fest on September 9, 10, and 11 at Beech Bend Raceway Park in Bowling Green, Kentucky. LS is a type of engine in some General Motors cars.
Ken Lingengfelter, owner of LPE, says, "Holley is one of the premier General Motors aftermarket-branded parts providers and we are pleased to be a partner and to support Holley in this exciting LS event.
"Lingenfelter and Holley have formed a strong relationship over the years, which has resulted in the successful collaboration on countless performance products from the hard-core drag racer to the late-model performance enthusiast."
LPE will also have two drag race cars in the Holley LS Fest and plans to compete in the 2012 event. Last year, LPE won one of the classes with a supercharged 2010 Camaro.
