Linda Kay Plasterer

    Linda Kay Plasterer, 58, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012, at her residence.
    She was born  in Van Wert, Ohio, on December 24, 1953, to the late Gerald A. and Dolores Puckett.
    Linda married Thom E. Plasterer in July 1973; he died on April 2, 1990.
    She was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, and worked as a registered nurse for Home Health Care.The most important thing in Linda’s life was being involved with her grandchildren and their activities. She was also an avid Ohio State fan.
    Among survivors are two sons, Chris Plasterer of Ossian and Scott (Amy) Plasterer of Decatur; a brother, Roger (Barb) Robinson of Van Wert; a sister, Arlene (Francis) Balliet of Phoenix, Ariz.; and four grandchildren, Lauren, Austin, Ethan, and Evangeline Plasterer.
    Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, October 16, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October, 17, also at the funeral home, with Rev. Michael Heinbaugh officiating.
    Burial will take place in the Decatur Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to the grandchildren’s education fund.
