    Linda J. Dietzen, 51, of Syracuse, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
    Born in Regensburg, Germany, she grew up in Decatur, Indiana and worked as an au pair.
    She enjoyed cooking and music, but her passion was her family and her beloved grandson, with whom she shared a birthday.
    She is survived by her husband, Kyle Dietzen of Syracuse; a daughter, Ashley Frericks of Syracuse; a beloved grandson, Grayson Lashley; a step-son, Jared Dietzen of Bloomington, Indiana; her father, William Davis of Hot Springs Arkansas; her mother and stepfather, Carol (Michael) McCulloch of Fort Wayne; a sister, Sheila (James) Jesionowski of Chicago, Illinois; stepbrothers Gary (Deb) McCulloch and Jim McCulloch of Angola, Indiana and Mark McCulloch of Fort Wayne; a half-sister, Jessica (Greg) Taylor of Benton Arkansas; and three nieces and a nephew: Breanne Jesionowski, Brittany (Doug) Hochstetler, Amanda and Zachary Lyon, and Taylor Burns.
    Linda was preceded in death by her sister, Tina Lyon.
    The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday in D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.     Calling will be from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
    Memorials may be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, the Interstitial Cystitis Foundation, or the Grayson Lashley Education Fund.
