Lenore M. Holtsberry

    Lenore M. (Lytle) Holtsberry, 99 of Decatur, passed away at 2:19 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013, at Woodcrest Nursing Center.
    Lenore was born Thursday, June 18, 1914 in Alger, Ohio, to the late Oscar and Ruth I. (Conner) Teeple.
    Her first husband, Harold D. Lytle, passed away on May 22, 1946. She married William H. Holtsberry on December 31, 1970; he passed away on December 11, 1996.
    Lenore was a member of First United Methodist Church, Women of the Moose, American Legion Auxiliary, Elks, General Electric Quarter Century Club, and the Academy of Friendship of Women of Moose.
    She retired in 1977 from General Electric Company.
    Among survivors are her son, Steven D. (Pat) Lytle of Decatur; two grandsons, Tony Lytle of Tuscon, Ariz., and Wade Lytle of Greenwood, Ind.; and six great-grandsons, Brady, Simon, Jonas, and Isaiah Lytle of Tuscon, and Chance and Collin Lytle of Indianapolis.
    Lenore was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Teeple.
    Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, August 3, at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Rev. Amy Covington officiating.
    Burial will follow in Decatur Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Family LifeCare in Berne or Woodcrest Retirement Center.
