Central broke a 6-6 tie in the top of the seventh when Lengerich walked, then scored two batters later on a Cooper Hill single but the Parkway Panthers would keep the game alive with one in the bottom half thanks to an RBI single from Jenson Riley tying the game back up at 7-7.
In the eighth, AC would add another run when Isaac Soldner reached on an error, then Kyle Baker singled moving Soldner to third where he would trot home easily on the next at-bat thanks to a Tanner Butler RBI-single giving AC the lead once again.
As in the seventh, Parkway would respond once more with a run in the bottom half to force more baseball thanks to a walk to Ryan On who would steal second, then score on an RBI single from Hayden Abromovich.
After the Jets' three-run ninth compliments of an error, a walk, and Lengerich's bomb to right-centerfield, reliever Matt Baker shut down the Panthers in order to end the ball game for the Jets who improved to 10-4 on the year with the victory.
