Lady Jets take down Bluffton

Both South Adams and Adams Central lady volleyballers took the court Tuesday night with mixed results in the ACAC.

The Lady Jets brought their broom to Bluffton Tuesday night when they swept the Lady Tigers 25-19, 25-20, & 25-17 in three games during their ACAC contest.
Leading the charge for AC was Chelsie Eads who produced eight kills and three digs as well as an assisted block. Abbey Lichtle also had eight kills to go along with her 12 digs.
The Lady Jets’ setter Alyssa Keller also had a stellar showing with four kills, 23 digs, an ace, and 27 assists.
Haley Gross had six kills, two blocks and a dig, while Bess Fiechter had five kills, a block, ten digs and two aces.
Rounding out the stats for AC were Whittney Peterson with seven kills and a dig, Abby Snyder and Alexa Baller with 20 and 18 digs respectively, and Liz Luginbill with ten digs.
The Lady Jets improve their record to 7-7 with a 3-2 mark in the conference. They can be seen in action Thursday night when they host Blackhawk Christian in a non-conference battle at 7pm.
