L. Irene Hoverman

    L. Irene Hoverman, 91, who lived her entire life in Willshire, Ohio, died there at 12:50 p.m. Monday.
    She was born to Floyd L. and Nellie Stetler Strickler.
    She married Merl F. Hoverman on July 17, 1938, in Cridersville, Ohio; he passed away on February 20, 1957.
    She was a member of the auxiliary at Homer Pierson American Legion Post in Willshire and the Willshire Senior Citizens.
    Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Farrel (Sharon) Krall of Willshire and Mrs. Willard (Karen) Gehron of North Star, Ohio; two sisters, L. Adeline Lough of Decatur and Hazel McMillen of Willshire; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
    She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Funk and Rosella Sovine; one great-grandson, James David Bollenbacher; and three brothers, Harold and Lester Strickler and Floyd L. Strickler Jr.
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Praise Point United Brethren Church at Willshire, with burial in Willshire Cemetery.
    Visiting hours are 1-8 p.m. Thursday and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Friday in Praise Point United Brethren Church.
    Preferred memorials are to Praise Point United Brethren Church in Willshire or to Community Health Professionals In-Patient Hospice Center at Van Wert, Ohio.
