Kicking Out Cancer team slots filling up fast

On Saturday, August 10 at the diamonds of Hanna Nutman Park, the fourth annual "Kicking Out Cancer" co-ed kickball tournament sponsored by the United Steelworkers 15173 will begin at 8 a.m.
    This all day event will be raising money for the Adams County branch of the American Cancer Society. This 32-team double elimination tournament will include teams from local businesses and local players. There will be a total of 384 players helping their teams claim the championship trophy at the end of the day. The title game will be scheduled for approximately 6 p.m.
    Food vendors, local business reps, and fans are expected to join in and enjoy this event all day long. A 50/50 drawing will take place the day of the event along with event t-shirts being sold and donations will be accepted throughout the day as well.
    To register your team for this event or for business sponsorship, please email Scott Christner at scottchristner@hotmail.com. The tournament is open to the first 32 teams that register and is only open to players over the age of 21 (unless given permission by the director). The tourney fee is $150 per team.
