Kenneth L. Pyle, 64, of Delphi, Indiana, passed away at 11:28 a.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011, at his home after a year-long battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis.
He was born on March 24, 1947, in Warsaw, Indiana, to Everette and Agnes Norr Pyle, who are deceased.
Ken was a 1965 graduate of Adams Central High School at Monroe.
On November 30, 1968, he married Irene Flora at her parents' home near Delphi. She survives.
Ken retired from JBS United after 27 years of service and was a member of the Lockport Church.
Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Adrian "Crit" (Elaine) Whitlock of Royal Center, Indiana; Mrs. Roger (Cheryl) Geisler of Delphi; and Marsha Pyle of Logansport; one sister, Mrs. Phil (Gretchen) Gerber of Magnolia, Mississippi; one brother, Roger Pyle (and wife Priscilla) of Rockford, Ohio; five grandchildren, Danielle, Philip, and Stephen Whitlock and Alicia and Erica Geisler; and one great-grandson, Ayden Condon.
One brother, Darrell Pyle, is deceased.
The funeral service was held in the Lockport Church, with Pastor Nord Zootman officiating.
Burial was in Wise Cemetery, near Camden, Indiana, with Pastor Zootman officiating.
