Kaczmarek is named 2nd team All-NHC

    Bellmont senior Dana Kaczmarek, a three-year starter for Bellmont behind the plate, has named to the All-NHC softball team, given second-team status, in a poll of the loop coaches.
    Kaczmarek was the only Bellmonter named to the team. She recently was named the Hebble Award winner at Bellmont.
    Samantha Agulair of Homestead was named first team catcher. Kaczmarek was named second team, and Kayla Northrup of DeKalb was given honorable mention.
    East Noble put four players on the first team: pitcher Natalie Kovets, infielder Rachel Fulk, outfielder Lauren Fulk and designated player Mackenzie Williams.
    Cassie Vodde of Columbia City was named a first-team pitcher while Tori Strelec of Homestead and Kayla Fendel of New Haven were named to the second team.
    Molly Collins of Carroll and Lauren Olson of Homestead were named corner fielders, first team. Becca Williams of East Noble and Kelsey Blevins of DeKalb were given second team status.

    Hillary Kartman of Homestead was named first team middle infielder along with Fulk. Brooke Taylor of EN and Destiny Beard of New Haven were second-teamers.
    Chanlar Hall of New Haven and Krystle Bice of DeKalb were named first team outfielders. Kaylyn Harrell of Homestead, Emily Catanzarite of Carroll and Kendall Beckstein of Norwell were named to the second team.
    Second team designated player was Amanda Western of DeKalb.
