The pairings for tonight's championship game in the Decatur Girls Junior Softball League are set with Rorick Electric having defeated German Mutual Insurance 15-1 Wednesday night in the finals of the loser's bracket of the double-elimination tourney.
Rorick's will face West End at 6 p.m. tonight at Hanna-Nuttman Park. If Rorick's wins the opener, a second game will then be played to determine the champion.
Jessika Schaden was the hitting and pitching star for the Electricians as she fanned nine batters in her three innings of work on the mound while allowing no hits and just one walk. She also drilled out three hits and three RBIs. Sarah Enterline came on in relief in the fourth and whiffed a pair in her two innings of work while allowing only one hit, a single by Grace Faurote.
Faurote scored the only GMI run on a ground out by Lizah Okoniewski in the fifth.
Meghan Busick had two doubles while Gabby Birch, Jenna Busick, and Tori Miller all clubbed doubles as well for Rorick's. Sierra Arriaga singled twice for the winners.
