    Julie A. Johnson, 51, of Anchorage, Alaska, formerly of Decatur, died at her brother’s residence in Bluffton on Wednesday, November 17, 2010.
    Julie was born on March 8, 1959, in Decatur to Richard L. and Josephine A. (McBride) Jackson.
    Julie was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Anchorage. She worked as a travel agent for Sato Travel in Anchorage.
    In Alaska, along with her fiance, David L. Andrews, she did many outdoor activities, including salmon fishing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.
    She also took care of her kids, Snoop Girl and Goliath Boy, her dogs.
    A graduate of Bellmont High School, Julie was active in gymnastics and cheerleading.
    She is survived by her mother, Josephine A. Jackson of Decatur; her fiance, David L. Andrews of Anchorage; a sister, Mary Ann Meyer of Decatur; six brothers, James L. Jackson of Clinton, Utah; Jerry L. (Kayanne) Jackson of Sacramento, California; David E. (Melinda) Jackson of Montgomery, Alabama; Danny E. (Karin) Jackson of Huron, South Dakota; Denny R. (Renae) Jackson of Decatur; and Richard Thomas (Becky) Jackson of Bluffton.
    Julie was preceded in death by her father.
    Visitation will be on Sunday, November 21, 2010, from 1-5 p.m. at Haggard and Sefton Funeral Home, Decatur. Reciting of the Holy Rosary will be at 12:30 p.m.
    A 9:30 a.m. prayer service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2010, at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, Decatur, with Father David Voors officiating.
    Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Decatur.
    Memorials are to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Anchorage or to Family Hospice and Palliative Care of Northeast Indiana, at Berne.
