Julia E. Rash, 55, of Decatur, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital.
She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on August 22, 1957, to the late Bobby Gene and Iva Bernice (Hughes) Drennen.
On September 9, 1978, she married David L. Rash; he survives in Decatur.
Julia attended Pleasant Mills Baptist Church, was a homemaker, and a former employee of West End Restaurant in Decatur.
Among survivors are four daughters, Onetta Canfield of Decatur, Tonya (Jim) King of Indianapolis, Becky Garrett of Decatur, and Laura (Chris) Mabbitt of Indianapolis; two brothers, Jeffrey (Amy) Caldwell and Andrew (Rachel) Drennen, both of Berne; one sister, Cindy Smith of Delphos, Ohio; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her stepmother, Patricia Yvonne Drennen.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday December 4, at Haggard Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, with visitation from 1-3 p.m prior to the service.
Preferred memorials are to the family.
Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Rev. Richard Sprunger will be officiating.
