Judith A. Ainsworth

    Judith A. Ainsworth, 73, of Decatur, died on Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    Judy was born on January 5, 1940, in Fort Wayne, to the late Robert E. and Bertha I. (Gibson) Lane.
    She married Gayle E. Ainsworth on September 5, 1959; he survives in Decatur.
    Judy was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, where she served as secretary, Women’s Circle Group, and Tri Kappa Sorority. She retired from Central Soya as a Customer Service Supervisor.
    Among survivors are two sons, Scott B. (Missy) Ainsworth and Michael E. (Patty) Ainsworth, both of Decatur; daughter, Elizabeth A. Ainsworth of Decatur; brother, Robert L. Lane of Fort Wayne; sister, Janet (Mark) Mitzner of Peoria, Ill.; six grandchildren, Alex, Luke, Grant, Sam, Emma, and Joe Ainsworth; and her beloved dog, Molly.
    Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 22, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home, and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
    Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 23, also at the church. Pastor Michael Heinbaugh will officiate.
    Burial will be in Decatur Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church and Love INC.
