Juanita R. Mankey

    Juanita R. Mankey, 90, of Decatur, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at River Terrace Estates Healthcare in Bluffton.
    Juanita was born on December 31, 1922, in Adams County to the late Leroy D. and Pearl M. (Helmrich) Cable.
    On April 26, 1941, Juanita married Ralph R. Mankey; he preceded her in death on August 8, 2012.
    Juanita was a member of Salem United Church of Christ and the Women’s Guild. She was a homemaker and a substitute bus driver for North Adams Schools.
    Among survivors are son, Clinton L. Mankey of Decatur; two daughters, Winnie Miller of Decatur and Gwen J. Mankey of Wabash, Ind.; brother, Leroy D. Cable of Port Orange, Fla.; sister, Bernice Miller of Decatur; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
    Juanita was preceded in death by a great-grandson; sister, Joyce Ann Wyland; and brother, Ladal Cable.
    Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Haggard-Sefton & Hirschy Funeral Home.
    Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at Salem United Church of Christ.
    Burial will be in Salem Magley Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Pathfinder Service of Wabash.
