PARKWAY, OH— The varsity Jets basketball team ventured to the Buckeye State Monday night earning a 46-38 non-conference victory over the Parkway Eagles in a game made up from earlier in December.
The Jets jumped out early on the Eagles leading 16-5 after one quarter, then extended the halftime lead slightly holding a 27-14 advantage heading into the break. After the third it was 39-24 with Central in the driver's seat but a 14-7 fourth quarter favored Parkway closing the deficit under double digits.
The Jets were led by Blade Kable's 17 points, but Alex Byerly contributed 14 of his own including a 3-5 showing from three-point. Nick Baumer pitched in a trio of points but led the tam with five assists and eight rebounds as well, while Anthony Spangler added four points and three steals. Parkway was led by Burna who had 18 points.
