The Adams Central track squads traveled to Eastbrook High School to take on the Panthers and came up short on both the girls' and boys' scores.
The girls competition was closer than the guys with AC falling, 73-53, while the boys fell, 101-31.
For the girls there were five golds individually. Ashley Faurote took first in the 400M Dash with a time of 1:03.66, Erica Bluhm placed first in the 300M Hurdles with a time of :51.99, Briona Case won both the 200M Dash and the Long Jump, and Summer Harvey took gold in the High Jump with a height of 5'1".
AC received second place points from McKenna Macklin in the 110 Hurdles, Case in the 100M Dash, Jessica Dunn in the 800M Rum, Sydnee Reinhard in the Shot Put and Discus, and Faurote in the Long Jump. Kayla Isch was third place in the 3200 M Run and Bluhm took third in 110 Hurdles.
For the boys, Troy Tonner took gold in the Shot Put competition as well as Discus where he beat his Eastbrook foe, Eric Mason, by 29 feet!
There were plenty of second place finishes for AC including Shawn Reinhard in the 110 Hurdles and Long Jump, Kyle Fawcett in the 400M Dash, and Alex Byerly in the 200M Dash and 100M Dash. Ben Lehman finished third in the 1600M Run, Byerly took bronze in the 400M Dash, and Colby Cauble took third in Long Jump and the 100M Dash.
The boys and girls from AC gear up for tomorrow's three-way track meet at Bellmont between the home team and Jay County, which starts at 5p.m.
