Jet track boys roll with 8 blues

    The Adams Central boys used eight blue ribbons to outscore Woodlan and Bluffton to win an ACAC three-way meet Tuesday, while the AC girls scored seven firsts and added nine second-place finishes to win that three-way meet.
    The AC boys tallied 68 points to the 60 of Woodlan and 28 of Bluffton.
    Shawn Reinhard scored two individual firsts, as did Kyle Fawcett and Troy Tonner, to pace the Jets' boys. Reinhard went 15.6 to cop the 110 high sticks and added the long jump with a leap of 19 feet, five and a half inches. Fawcett took the 1600 in 5:11 and the 3200 in 12:01.8. Tonner took the shot with a toss of 46 feet, one-half inch, and added the discus win with a strong heave of 127 feet, 10 inches.
    The Jets won the 400 relay in 48 seconds and the 1600 in 3:43. No names were provided.
    Colby Cauble came up with a pair of seconds, in the 100 and 200, losing to Johnson of Bluffton. Ben Lehman took second in the 1600 while Reinhard added a second in the 300 sticks, won by Bluffton's Lambert.
    AC sprinter Briona Case went 13.1 to win the 100 and added the 200 in 27.9 as the girls scored 73 to the 64 of Woodlan and 19 of Bluffton.
    MaKenna Macklin won the 100 hurdles in 17.2 while Erica Bluhm added the 300 stick win in 54 seconds. Leah Spangler earned the 800 crown with a run of 2:52.5 and Kayla Isch churned out a 14:11 to win the 3200.
    Summer Harvey, Jessica Dunn, Ashley Faurote and MaKenna Macklin combined for a 4:45 to win the 1600.
    Harvey cleared 5' in the high jump, second to Carver of Woodlan, who went 5'4". Reinhard was second in discus toss, Spangler second in the 3200, Anna-Lena Vogel was second in the 300 sticks, Case second in the long jump (15'2"), Faurote second in the 400, and Isch was second in the 1600. The Jets earned seconds in the 3200 relay and 400 relay.
