Janet S. Adams

    Janet S. Adams, 77, of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, was born to eternal life on March 9, 2011.
    She was the beloved wife for 56 years of Joseph E. Adams; the dear mother of Mrs. Scott (Kathleen) Wickman; the loving grandmother of Lauren, Brennan, and Sean; and the fond sister of Mrs. David (Rita) Moore, Mrs. Steve (Patricia) Spoltman, the late James Osterman, the late Nita Gidley, and the late Julia Gilles. She was also the sister-in-law of Warren Gidley (and wife Barbara) and George Gilles (and wife Sonja) and is survived by other family members and friends.
    She was born in Decatur to Robert and Virginia Keller Osterman and was reared here.
    Janet was extremely active at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Oak Creek, with her involvement in human concerns, bingo, festivals, and dinners.
    She loved Marquette University men's basketball, gardening, traveling, and her family and friends.
    There will be memorial visitation on Wednesday, March 16, from 10-11 a.m. at St. Stephens Catholic Church, 1441 W. Oakwood Rd., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m.
    If desired, memorials to the building fund at St. Stephens Catholic Church are appreciated.
    Funeral arrangements were by Prasser-Kleczka South Suburban Chapel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
