Jail/court estimated cost: $26.6 million

    The total projected cost associated with the construction of a new Adams County jail and superior court building is estimated to be $26.6 million, Todd Samuelson, a partner with the accounting firm of H. J. Umbaugh and Associates, Plymouth, informed county council Tuesday morning.
    Umbaugh has been retained to assist the county with the financing aspects of the project, and appeared before council to update the full body on funding data the firm had arrived at through discussions with the delegated committee and consultants.
