Jack E. Ross

    Jack E. Ross, 73, of Decatur, passed away at 5:55 a.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at Englewood Health and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne.
    He was born on October 18, 1936, in Sedalia, Missouri, to Zeke and Nadine (Wear) Ross.
    He married Kay Grubb on June 27, 1959.
    He is survived by his wife, Kay Ross of Decatur; a brother, Edward James (Janet) Ross of Sydney, Ohio; and two sisters, Mrs. Marion (Frances) Grubb of Whitinger, California, and Mrs. Bob (Margie) Bricker of Clearwater, Florida. He was loved by many nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Sue Bye.
    He was a member of Cornerstone Community Church in Decatur.
    He worked for General Electric  Co. in Decatur for 24 years.
    Visitation is 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011, at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home in Decatur.
    Funeral services will follow at 4 p.m. on Thursday.
    Burial will take place in Blue Creek Township Cemetery at Haviland, Ohio on Friday, May 6.
