ISETP scores a mixed bag in county

    Results of the Indiana Statewide Testing for Education Progress Plus reports were released Monday morning by the Indiana Department of Education for elementary and middle school students across the state.
    The tests were administered this spring to test students’ knowledge of English and math. In addition, fourth and sixth grade students were tested in  science, while fifth- and seventh- grade students were also tested in their understanding of information pertaining to the area of social studies.
    Results were broken down between elementary and middle school students, with grades three through eight taking ISTEP+ tests in English and math, while fourth- and seventh grade students took science exams and fifth and eighth graders were also tested on their knowledge of social studies.
