Although he didn't look like a college professor during much of his appearance at Adams Central on Tuesday, Dr. Lowell Madden of the Indiana-Purdue campus in Fort Wayne was right in his element as a magician and a proponent of using famous books by Dr. Seuss to enlighten children.
He performed for more than 80 second graders at AC's elementary school.
Before he put on the Cat in the Hat outfit, the professor performed a magic trick involving an egg in a glass on someone's head.
