    Ilo Mae Putman, 91, died Wednesday July 17, 2013, at her home in Decatur
    Ilo was born February 10, 1922, in Whitley County to the late Ralph and Glenna Clark.  Over the years Ilo worked at U.S. Rubber, Wayne Novelty, and was a waitress at the Pancake House. She was also secretary and treasurer of the Piqua Estates Mobile Home Court.
    She was an avid gardener and loved travelling.
    Among survivors are her children, Jerry Putman of Decatur and David (Catherine) Putman of Rome City; sister, Betty (Keith) Slabaugh of Elkhart; two grandchildren, Daniel and Joseph; and four great-grandchildren, Hayden, Jacob, Kyle, and Ella.
    Ilo was preceded in death by her husband Charles Putman in 1994.
    Honoring Ilo’s request, there will be no viewing or services. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
