Howard Goyer

    Howard Goyer, 94, Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Lutheran Hospital. 
    He was born in Bicknell to the late Richard P. Goyer and Jeanette N. Goyer-Davis.
    Howard was a US Army WWII veteran and worked as a salesman with Schueler's Appliance for 25 years, retiring in 1985. 
    He was a member of Faith United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.
    Surviving are his wife, Erma M. Goyer; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews .
    Howard was preceded in death by two sisters, Harriet Davidson and Kathryn McCulloch.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue, Fort Wayne.
    Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Decatur.
    Calling will be held from 6-9 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the services Saturday, both at the funeral home.
