It was learned at this week's Decatur City Council meeting that a new housing development is planned for an area at the northern edge of the city.
Belle Farm Estates, to be developed by Biggs Property Management, will cover some 92 acres in an area near Common Ground Church, which is situated at the corner of Bellmont and Piqua roads, and the Crossing at Bellbrook apartments, also a Biggs development.
To be developed in phases, Belle Farm Estates is expected to eventually have some 200 units (lots), beginning with some 30 in the first phase.
