3D Sand Printer at Hoosier Pattern

A local manufacturing company is on the cutting edge of the digital electronic technology revolution with the recent addition of a three-dimensional sand printer to their operation.
Hoosier Pattern, Inc., located in a relatively innocuous and nondescript cinderblock building on 10th Street south of Washington Street in Decatur, is utilizing tomorrow's technology today as they transition their manufacturing business into the digital age with the recent purchase of an ExOne S Max 3D sand printer.
Hoosier Pattern president and owner Keith Gerber stated "we've had the printer about two weeks...and it's taken us eight days to get it up and running. We're very excited. We're making a lot of stuff right now just to show what we can do."
