Herman E. Fox

    Herman E. Fox, 74, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, December 27, 2010, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
    Born on August 24, 1936, in Berne, he was the son of Milo and Mary Fuchs.
    He was a registered certified public accountant and owned and operated the Dairy Queen at Clinton St. and Washington Center Rd. in Fort Wayne, retiring in 2004.  He was previously head controller at Industra Products and had been an accountant at Peter Eckrich and Sons, both in Fort Wayne.
    Surviving are his daughter, Rhonda (Ken) Walsh of Rochester, New York; his son, Jeffrey Fox of Fort Wayne; grandchildren Stacey Fox, Amy Walsh, Jamie Fox, Joseph Walsh, and Rachael Walsh; his sister, Dolores Harvey of Bluffton; and his brother, Delbert Fuchs of Berne.
    He was preceded in death by his sister, Irene Burkholder, and by his brother, Ivan Fuchs.
    The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 1, 2011, at Hockemeyer and Miller Funeral Home, 6131 St. Joe Rd., Fort Wayne.
    Visitation is 4-8 p.m. Friday, December 31, 2010, at the funeral home.
    Burial will be in Concordia Cemetery Gardens at Fort Wayne.
    Preferred memorials to Cancer Services of Northeastern Indiana or to the American Heart Association.
