Harold G. Clifton

    Harold G. Clifton, 82, of Ohio City, Ohio, died at 1:45 p.m. Sunday at his residence.
    He was born on February 23, 1928 in Wren, Ohio to William M. and Helen R. Barnett Clifton.
    He married Marilyn Kraner, who survives.
    He retired from International Harvester in Fort Wayne and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
    Other survivors are three daughters: Deborah Hankins, Cathy Elzey, and Mrs. Dan (Rebecca) Pierce, all of Decatur; two sons: Lance Clifton (and wife Melanie) and Gary Clifton (and wife Lisa), both of Ohio City; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
    One sister, Betty Wright, is deceased.
    A private family funeral service will be held at a later date.
    Preferred memorials are to the Community Health Professionals hospice program.
    Funeral arrangements are by Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, Ohio.
