H. George Schinnerer

    H. George Schinnerer, 70, of Willshire, Ohio, passed away at 11:20 p.m. on Friday, October 12, 2012, in Lutheran Hospital.
    George was born in Willshire, Ohio, on Friday, August 14, 1942.
    He married Penelope "Penny" A. Schmoll on November 5, 1965, in Decatur; she passed away on July 16, 1995.
    He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church-Schumm, rural Willshire, Ohio, and he retired from Prestress Services Inc. in Decatur after 44 years of service.
    Among survivors are his daughters, Tammy J. (Larry) McDonough of Rockford, Ohio; Chrissy A. (Mike) Sarns of Millbury, Ohio; companion, Charlene N. Rowland of Willshire; brother, Lester E. (Pat) Schinnerer of Decatur; sisters, Marlene S. (Richard) Beard of Albany, Ind., and Judy A. Fraley of Jay, Fla.; and grandson, Tommy McDonough of Rockford.
    He was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph and Kenneth Schinnerer; and one son, Thomas Schinnerer.
    Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home.    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 16, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Jeff Patterson officiating.
    Burial will follow in Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church-Schumm cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Zion Lutheran Church-Schumm, or the American Heart Association.
