Gwendolyn Burroughs Clay

    Gwendolyn Burroughs Clay, 88, Palm Coast, Fla. and formerly of Decatur, passed away Aug. 20, 2014.
    Born to the late Emma Burroughs Mallone, Gwendolyn retired from the Fort Wayne Township Trustees office in Allen County. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
    Among survivors are her sons, Thomas and Craig Cray and daughter, Linda Clay, all of Florida; sister, Neva Mallone Sutton of Decatur; granddaughter, Tiffany Clay of Florida; nephews, Randy Hendricks of Decatur, Larry, Ron, Steve, Michael and Greg Burroughs; nieces, Kathy Derrow of Fort Wayne; and Margaret and Mona Hendricks of Florida.
    She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donovan and Robert Burroughs.
