Grover W. Heckert

    Grover W. Heckert, 58, Monroe, passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2014.
    He was born Friday, Nov. 11, 1955, the son of the late James and Lillian (Lintemoot) Heckert. 
    Grover married Nancy M. Tinkham Brown June 7, 1987, in Monroe; she survives.
    Also surviving are two daughters, Tara Rodgers of Pennville and Tiffany Wolfe of Decatur; three sons, Nathan (Shelia) Brown, Jeremy Brown and Matthew (Heather) Brown, all of Monroe; five brothers, Gary (Donna) Heckert and Steve Heckert, both of Decatur, Don (Linda) Chaffee of Three Rivers, Mich., and Dave Heckert and Tim Heckert, both of Bluffton; three sisters, Karen Secaur and Tammy (Roger) Lough, both of Decatur, and Faye (Dave) Krick of Hoagland; a brother-in-law, Emil Baumgartner of Bluffton; nine grandchildren, Kayla and Austin Brown; Will, Trent and Kaden Brown; Taylor and Chase Brown; Mason Rodgers and Madison Wolfe; and one great-grandson, Elliott Brown.
    Preceding Grover in death were a brother, Robert Heckert, and a sister, Jane Baumgartner.
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home. 
    Burial will be in Tricker Cemetery at a later date.
    Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
    Preferred memorials are to Monroe Volunteer Fire Department.
