Gough named nurses director

March 28, 2013

Three new directors of nurses (DON) were announced at the Adams Health Network (AHN) board meeting Wednesday night, two involving AHN-owned nursing homes, and the other, a replacement for retiring Jo McIntire.
Michelle Gough, a registered nurse who most recently worked at Parkview-Whitley Hospital in Columbia City, has been selected as McIntire's successor and will be on the job  this coming Monday as work works with McIntire to learn the ropes at AMH.
Bill Watson, vice-president of long-term care at AHN, also announced that both nursing homes, adams-Woodcrest and adams-Heritage, have recently filled their vacant DON positions as well.
