Shirley Wass ejoyed some onion rings from West End Restaurant during Taste of Decatur on August 22, 2011. The event was part of the city's 175th anniversary celebration.

As "Peanuts" cartoonist Charles Schulz might have written, "Happiness is a warm onion ring." That's what Shirley Wass must have been thinking as she started into a pile of rings from the West End Restaurant tent during the Taste of Decatur at Riverside Center on Monday, August 22, 2011. It was one of many activities scheduled for the 175th anniversary celebration.
